While growing up, she more often than not had her nose in a book. Throughout her youth, she tried her hand at writing, receiving a few awards along the way, but never taking it seriously. She graduated from Utah Valley University with a degree in Business Management which later proved useful as she ran a successful small business.

She and her husband, Scott, have a combined family of ten children--seven boys and three girls. Kimberly loves being a mom and feels that raising exceptional children is her most valuable mission in this life. It has brought her abundant joy and extreme heartache, and she wouldn't trade it for anything.

Many times, escaping into the pages of a book, created a safe haven from difficulties in her own life. Through the encouragement of a friend, she decided to attempt writing her own novel. Catching snippets of time on break at work, while waiting in the car for her children, and through many late night plotting sessions, the story of Stephanie and Jared, in I'll Know You by Heart, was born.

Kimberly has a unique viewpoint on life and relationships. Her writing reflects the many personal experiences she has gone through and offers insight on difficult issues from a refreshing gospel perspective. In addition to writing, she is an avid reader and scrapbooker. She loves to cook, play with her children, snuggle with her husband and will never tire of learning new things.

Kimberly is a member of the League of Utah Writers, LDStorymakers, Authors Incognito, and the Super Edits critique group. She has written and published many inspirational and educational articles. Additionally, a short story about the premature birth of her youngest child, was included in A Cup of Comfort for New Mothers, published by Adams Media. Her first novel, I'll Know You by Heart, was released in 2010, by Valor Publishing Group.
